    • To upgrade from Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS to 12.10, if the option to upgrade does not appear in the Update Manager, the setting to automatically detect updates may be set to "For long-term support versions" instead of "For any new version". See http://bit.ly/TVTjYQ to change it.
